Agricultural business operations are very different from other industries.  They are operating entities that exist to provide grain or livestock to market.  But they are more than that.  They are also a family history and a way of life.  Most other business ventures don’t share that same feeling.  We recognize this and realize that passing the family farm, ranch or livestock operation to the next generation is more important to you than many of your non-agricultural counterparts.

That is why we have asked Doug Krasne to assist us in providing you with valuable information about your options for keeping the business in your family for generations to come.  Doug has provided planning assistance to many Ag families over the years and brings that experience and a wide range of other resources to help you think through the options you have in this transition.  One of the resources he has available to help in the process is Nationwide Insurance.  They are very involved in the Ag world with both their property and casualty and financial services portfolios.
