Why be a member of CFE?

Jul 27, 2020

Cooperative Farmers Elevator  would like to thank you for your business during the current fiscal year, ending August 31, 2020.  We wanted to give you a reminder of the benefits of becoming a member of our Cooperative.  CFE offers Agronomy, Feed, Grain and Lumber services that are eligible to receive patronage allocation, if you are a member. Our Brand Promise is “Passionately driving success in everything we do for our customers, employees and communities.” We strive to help drive that success with offering a great Patronage Program to give back to our members. A description of our patronage program is below.

Each fiscal year, the Members of our Coop earn Patronage on the amount of business done, throughout that year.  Patronage is essentially money back to the Member for purchased goods and/or services from the Coop. We would like to invite you to become a Member of Cooperative Farmers Elevator and take part in our strong Patronage Program.

If you decide to start a membership with CFE, you can fill out the application and include a payment towards a Common Stock. The full purchase amount for a Stock is $500.00, but we ask for a minimum payment of $100.00. The remaining balance can be paid through applying earned Patronage until the Stock amount reaches $500.00. Once the Stock is at $500.00, the Member will be paid out the earned equity as it revolves back from the Coop and is approved by the Board of Directors. We hope you consider becoming a Member of Cooperative Farmers Elevator.

MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

Membership forms received before the end of the fiscal year (August 31, 2020) will revolve back to the beginning of the fiscal year (September 1, 2019). So, you will get credit for all business done with CFE this fiscal year.

We are committed to providing you with the highest level of customer satisfaction possible. If for any reason you have questions or comments, we encourage you to contact us at either our Rock Valley (712-451-6280) or Ocheyedan (712-758-3636) Admin Offices.

Again, thank you for choosing CFE! We look forward to serving you in the future.

Sincerely,

Todd Netten, CPA
CFE Chief Financial Officer
