Why CFE?

Testimonials

“Having the ability to work in a business that impacts so much of agriculture is something I don’t take for granted. I really like getting to work with my lumber customers while also knowing we’re doing great things for local grain and livestock farmers.”

“No day is ever the same - and I love that! HR in agriculture isn’t a common career path a lot of people think about, and being able to educate about not only my role, but the role of the cooperative in the community is really fulfilling to me.”

“CFE is very proactive, and my role is a prime example of that. With each year, I research the trends of agronomy in our local area, and report on those to our membership and customers. It’s nice to work for a business who recognizes my skills and abilities, and built me a role where I could thrive and show membership the added value of the cooperative.”

“Growing my network of beef farmers, and helping them succeed, or find solutions when needed, is something I really like about what I do. Wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else.”

“I have really enjoyed building relationships with the members of CFE. With my family being from the area, it’s been great to be able to partner with the growers I grew up with, and help them succeed.”

"I appreciate the ability to not only connect with area growers, but also have the flexibility to speak at co-op events. It's been great being able to expand all my skills."
