Agronomy Internship

This intern may be involved in working at one of our various warehouses assisting growers with their crop protection chemicals, seed or other agronomy related products and/or services. The operational intern also will be exposed to crop scouting and some customer interaction.

Although there will still be some operational activities involved in this internship, the goal will be to have this person transition to field scouting as soon as the crop size and stage allows. All information that is gathered will be relayed to the agronomist whom they are working with.

Intern Spotlights

Lacey Hanson- SDSU

“This internship has allowed us to actually walk through the barns and work with the swine feed customers, including working with nursery feed trials.”

Jett Boyer - Lake Area Tech

“My favorite experiences from this internship include getting to know the employees and learning what goes on inside a member-owned coop.”

Hope Brotherson - ISU

“To be a good salesman you must connect with the customer. It was fun to see the CFE sales team do just that and learn from them.”

Zach Heikens - SDSU

"I enjoyed the hands-on activities in the field, like soil sampling and tissue-sampling, and getting to see the results later."
