SMS Term and Conditions
Effective Date: July 15, 2026
Last Updated: July 15, 2026
These SMS Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Cooperative Farmers Elevator (“CFE”) SMS/text messaging program.
1. Program Description
CFE provides SMS/text messaging communications to customers who opt in. Messages may include scale ticket notifications, delivery updates, account-related alerts, operational notices, and customer service communications.
2. Consent and Enrollment
By opting in to CFE SMS/text messaging, you provide express consent to receive text messages from CFE. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase or doing business with CFE.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on customer activity, account activity, transaction activity, delivery activity, and CFE business operations.
4. Fees and Charges
Message and data rates may apply. Fees are determined by your mobile carrier and mobile plan.
5. Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of CFE SMS/text messaging at any time by replying STOP to any CFE text message. After you opt out, you may receive a confirmation message, and CFE will stop sending SMS/text messages to that mobile number unless you opt in again.
6. Help Instructions
For help, reply HELP to a CFE text message or contact CFE at contact@coopfe.com.
7. Rejoining After Opt-Out
If you opt out and later wish to receive CFE SMS/text messages again, you may rejoin through CFE’s approved opt-in process.
8. Data Use and SMS Privacy
CFE uses your mobile number and SMS-related information solely to provide, support, secure, and administer CFE SMS/text messaging communications and related business operations. CFE does not sell or share SMS opt-in data, mobile phone numbers, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
For more information about how CFE collects, uses, and protects your information, please review CFE’s Privacy Policy, available at https://www.coopfe.com/privacy-policy.
9. Service Availability
CFE does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or timely delivery of SMS/text messages. Delivery may be delayed, blocked, or otherwise affected by mobile carrier networks, device settings, connectivity, service outages, or other factors outside CFE’s control.
10. Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
11. Changes to SMS Terms
CFE may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Continued participation in the SMS program after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
