Feed Order Policy


We appreciate your support and partnership with Cooperative Farmers Elevator over the years. As CFE continues to navigate through changing times, we are always looking at all opportunities and options to improve both reliable and timely customer service, including feed deliveries.

As CFE navigates through many challenges, we have made changes to several policies to better serve our customers and maintain regulatory compliance. One of the processes we continue to improve on is our feed order policy for both bag and bulk orders. Several options are available to make this as simple as possible for our customers to get their orders submitted in a timely manner.

One critical need going forward is that your feed order be communicated to the feed order desk by noon the day prior to delivery. This allows the feed mills to better schedule loads and utilize sequencing to ensure the highest level of quality and service in delivery of complete feeds.

We are also implementing a flat delivery charge of $30.00 for all packaged feed deliveries. The changing economics in our business made this a priority. We encourage you to pick up your packaged feed at one of our locations, if possible. We understand the need for items to be delivered and will continue to provide this service for those who request it. This would include deliveries of tubs and blocks, as well as bagged feed.
